Memberships and cooperations allow companies to broaden their horizons, operate best practice sharing, and change together. The A1 Group therefore plays an active role in a host of local and in some cases cross-border ESG platforms and initiatives.
A1 Group
UN Global Compact
UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, requiring companies to align their strategies and operations with universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
As a member of the UN Global Compact since 2013, the A1 Group is committed to adhering to international standards in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. These requirements are incorporated, among other elements, into the Code of Conduct, the Group-wide purchasing conditions and the Supplier Code of Conduct.

respACT is Austria’s leading corporate platform for responsible business conduct and sustainable corporate management, promoting exchange and advancement in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Joint Alliance for CSR (JAC)
Since 2022, A1 has been a member of the Joint Alliance for CSR (JAC), an association of around 30 globally operating telecommunications companies. JAC aims to view sustainability as a shared responsibility and acts as a driving force to raise awareness for sustainability along global supply chains. By collaborating with other telecommunications companies, we promote effective implementation of sustainability principles in the industry and emphasize our commitment to responsible corporate governance.
